The two Grazers focus on the observation of well-known dramaturgies in the rapid change of rooms. A kind of parallel dramaturgy emerges for the sound events.

The award ceremony took place together with the Carl Mayer Screenplay Prize as part of the Diagonale on Monday, April 8, 2024, in the Heimatsaal of the Folklore Museum at Paulustor in Graz. I had the honor play the musical intermezzi with may extended electric guitar.

Styrian Improvisers Orchestra meets Clementine Fuchs

The first part of the evening will be presented by our guest conductor, composer, and instrumentalist Clementine Fuchs. She will premiere her new piece, “Momentum,” with the STIO.

The second part will be dedicated to the initiator of International Women’s Day by Annette Giesriegl, co-founder and co-director of the Styrian Improvisers Orchestra, conducting “Clara Zetkin.”
