Kunstradio“ was a central point to the work of Heidi Grundmann). We (KLammer&Gründler Duo) as “media musicians” percieved as a fith channel in the austrian media scene. In “the fifth channel” we use the live broadcasts of the four official austrian radio channels(Ö1, Ö2, Ö3, FM4) as sound sources. Processed and controlled with drum- and guitarcontrollers they form the “fifth program” in realtime. Its brodcasted as abinaural amisonic satialised stereo signal. Its referenzing to a work by Klammer and Gründler dating back to 1997 commissioned by the Kunstradio. “Four Radio“ for two respective four radiostations. Ö2 and Ö3 was the source for a 4 channel piece. Two stereomixes where broadcasted on Ö1 and FM4. Listeners could choose one of the two stations or experience a 4 channel choice in using two radios tuning in to two different stations.

After an artist in residency at IEM there will be three concerts inJune 2018 with Josef Klammer drums, electronics and myself: June 21th 2018 8pm IEM CUBE 24 speakers dome,no earphones June 22th and 23rd Kunsthalle Graz with earphones

Happy to be invited by CONA Institute for Contemporary Arts Processing to have a recidency in Ljubljana and to participate in ZVO.ČI.TI so.und.ing DUO 2018 tandems, residency and performances with Mauricio Valdes.

Klammer Gründler have always had their fingers on the pulse of time: following their projects “Razionalnik”, that explored the musical potency of data networks thirty years ago, and “RGB”, that dealt with the subject of synchronisation at musikprotokoll twenty years back,

Solo concert at opening of Styrian Power at Künstlerhaus Klagenfurt 13. July 2017 19h, my soundinstallation Guitar-Pendulum will be shown during the exhibition till the 17th of August.

Next concert with Patrick Wurzwallner 8.July 2017 22h Forum Stadtpark, opening of exhibition InBetween, will be a double duo with Darko Horvatic, Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka. The exhibition is curated by somedesigners.

Acoustic couplers, samplers (digital storage of nature sounds), synthesizer, personal computers and the international telephone network are the means to connect musicians from different countries. These connections make it possible to realise a concert, whose musicians are not in the same space, but realise a collaborative concert from different countries.
